Stephen Bornheimer

Workshop Facilitator, Indiana District

If it involves science or it’s powered by a battery, it has probably piqued Stephen Bornheimer’s interest. He recently took a call to serve as the digital communications specialist for Fort Wayne Theological Seminary. Previously, he served for eight years at Emmanuel-St.Michael Lutheran School as 7th-grade homeroom teacher, eSports club coordinator, MakerSpace coordinator and IT manager. He also helped manage a multi-campus technology ministry with emphasis on Chromebook and ipad environments.

Stephen has a B.A. from Concordia Ann Arbor (2010) and M.S. in integrated science from Lawrence Technological University with an emphasis on science education (2016). He joined the TEC21 team because he believes technology has the creative potential to enhance and empower teachers of every generation to grow and expand the horizons of the educational environments in which they minister. Stephen enjoys partnering with teachers and students and helping them find or invent innovative solutions to questions they have about their teaching and learning.
