Her high school and college years were spent on the campus of Concordia, Portland, where she graduated with a degree in elementary education. Sheri has been a teacher at Peace Lutheran School in Bremerton, Washington, for over 30 years. She also taught at Concordia Lutheran School in Tacoma, Washington, and Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She has taught a variety of grades and subjects and served as principal for threre years, as well. She currently teaches middle school science, robotics and 8th-grade catechism.

Sheri is excited to collaborate with other teachers in our Lutheran schools. She believes that we all have many and varied experiences, gifts and talents that should be shared so that our students can receive the best education. “Teaching strategies have undergone so many changes due to an exponential increase in the use of technology in our society.  Being a part of TEC21 provides an opportunity to help more teachers become comfortable with technology in the classroom, which ultimately will benefit students.”
