Sara has taught middle-school science and math at St. Paul Lutheran in the Cleveland area for 20 years. Next year, she will be one of five members of the inaugural teaching team at the new Lutheran West Middle School.
With an undergraduate degree from Baldwin-Wallace University and MAT from Marygrove College, Sara has been a life-long Lutheran and attended Lutheran schools herself. She is passionate about learning new ways to reach her students and believes the more actively engaged they are in their learning, the more they will take ownership of it. “Being part of TEC21 will give me a chance to share with other Lutheran educators new avenues for technology. The Workshop Program is about peers helping peers build confidence to integrate technology in our classrooms.”
