Lisa Siegfried

Workshop Facilitator, Southeastern District

Lisa is the Library Media Specialist and STEM instructor at St. Paul Lutheran School in Catonsville, Maryland. She also provides technology integration support for the classroom and special area teachers as well as intervention and enrichment support to small groups of students. She graduated from Bloomsburg University with a dual undergraduate degree in secondary education and social studies and from Towson University with a master’s degree in school library science and institutional technology. She worked at a public high school for 15 years before moving abroad with her husband and two children. Upon her return to Maryland, she decided to pursue a position at St. Paul and has been a member of the staff since January 2020.

Lisa is considered tech support in her family as well as at school, and is always willing to assist with the implementation of a new device. As a TEC 21 facilitator, she loves seeing teachers find ways to empower their students to use technology in innovative ways! “Technology is constantly changing, and having the tools and confidence to embrace the changes is the key to success.” A lifelong learner, Lisa tries to maintain a growth mindset, and looks for ways to remind others that technology should not be a hindrance but a way to an easier means!
