Laurie Friedrich

Workshop Facilitator, Minnesota South District

Laurie brings insights from five years of elementary and middle-level teaching experience and over 25 years as a teacher educator to TEC21. Building upon her doctoral studies of new literacies, technology integration across the curriculum, and project-based learning, Laurie facilitates TEC21 workshops focusing on technology and pedagogy. Currently, she teaches online for CSP Global in the Graduate Teachers College at Concordia St. Paul.

Laurie shares a passion for Lutheran education and believes technology integration is a key way we can remain relevant in a world that desperately needs to hear about the love of Jesus. “Helping Lutheran teachers feel confident and competent using 21st-century skills to teach and empower students to create is something I believe is necessary to prepare our students to be leaders in our global world.”
