Joshua Payne has taught in the Pacific Southwest District for 16 years in 4th through 8th grade. He is currently the 4th-grade teacher and technology coordinator at Christ Lutheran School in La Mesa, California. He received his undergraduate degree in education and business from Concordia University Irvine. He recently completed his M.Ed. in education technology at Concordia University Irvine.

As a recent participant in TEC21, Joshua enjoyed the exploration of technological tools he can utilize with his students. He looks forward to sharing those tools and many others as a workshop facilitator. “Finding new ways to help kids learn drives my exploration in technology,” he says. “One of my growing passions is helping other educators find technology that works for them so their students can have the best learning experience possible.”
