Workshop Facilitator, Northern Illinois District/Wisconsin South District
Jerrita Staehr has taught language arts for grades 6-8 at Trinity Lutheran School in Grand Island, Nebraska, since 2008, and has been involved in a variety of areas in Lutheran education since 2000. She received a B.A. degree in English and Lutheran Teacher Diploma from Concordia University, Nebraska. She graduated with a M.A. in Teaching from Missouri State University.
Over the years, Jerrita has sought ways to integrate technology into the classroom learning experience. TEC21 is a program, she says, that equips teachers to empower students to utilize a variety of digital tools and technology in innovative ways. “Clearly, TEC21 helps educators prepare future leaders to be divergent thinkers and skilled problem-solvers.”
