Jerrita Staehr

Workshop Facilitator, Nebraska District

Jerrita Staehr has taught middle-school language arts since 2005, and has been involved in a variety of areas in Lutheran education since 2000. She began teaching 6th grade at Emmanuel-Faith Lutheran School in York, Nebraska, in August 2022. She received a B.A. degree in English and Lutheran Teacher Diploma from Concordia University, Nebraska, and graduated with a M.A. in teaching from Missouri State University.

Over the years, Jerrita has sought ways to integrate technology into the classroom learning experience. TEC21 is a program, she says, that equips teachers to empower students to utilize a variety of digital tools and technology in innovative ways. “Clearly, TEC21 helps educators prepare future leaders to be divergent thinkers and skilled problem-solvers.”
