Emilie graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She later completed the Teacher Colloquy courses through Concordia to become better equipped to teach in Lutheran schools. She is pursuing a master’s degree in literacy.

Emilie is excited to lead other teachers to implement technology into their classrooms. She acts as an “unofficial” technology coordinator at her school. She has spent her career volunteering to lead technology training sessions for a variety of programs and support other needs staff may have. She is passionate about the ways classrooms can be transformed with technology and hopes to help other educators see the power of technology for future generations.
