Active in the Pacific Southwest district for more than two decades, Dennis is now a digital literacy coach at Concordia International School in Shanghai, China. He is currently working with elementary and middle-school teachers to help them integrate technology into their lessons, activities and projects as a tool students can use to learn, create and show what they know. Dennis believes it’s important that our teachers see technology not as “one more thing” to add to their already busy day, but as an exciting replacement for methodologies and tools that can be improved. TEC21 is important, he says, because it gives teachers time to learn together, collaborate with other amazing Lutheran educators, and bring ideas and strategies that they learn back to their own schools.
