Chris is new to the Florida-Georgia district but has taught in Lutheran schools since 2001. He currently teaches technology for kindergarten through 8th grade and music for PreK3 through 8th grade at Faith Lutheran School in Eustis, Florida. Chris graduated from Concordia University-Nebraska in 1999 with a BA in music and earned his LTD and teaching credential in 2001. He has taught technology for grades K-12, coached FIRST Robotics and FIRST Tech Challenge teams, and led coding workshops for homeschool groups. He also spent eight years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve as an Infantryman and Mortuary Affairs Specialist.

“I have always enjoyed learning about and trying out new technology. As a teacher attending TEC21 I had an amazing experience, so I was excited about the opportunity to serve as a facilitator and bring the knowledge I have gained to others. TEC21 provides a format in which technical knowledge and experience can be shared and, more importantly, practiced collaboratively. This is what makes the program so powerful and effective.”
