Brian Dahlke

Workshop Facilitator, Indiana District

Residing in Indianapolis, Indiana, Brian serves Lutheran High School of Indianapolis. He has worked in several Lutheran districts, including South Wisconsin and Southeastern. Online learning and successfully creating an efficient “online classroom” have been driving forces of his career. He says having used platforms like Moodle, OnCampus, Schoology and, most recently, Google Classroom, one thing became very clear: “the platform doesn’t matter as much as creating materials that students will be able to access and understand. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is how important feedback from students and other teachers is to this process.”

Brian has a B.S. from Concordia University in Seward (2015) in secondary education, with emphasis in theology and special education. As a TEC21 facilitator, he enjoys working alongside participants to collectively grow and learn how to utilize technology in classes that are often not thought of as “technology friendly.”
