Amy Schroeder

Workshop Facilitator, Iowa District East/Iowa District West

Amy Schroeder has served as middle-school teacher at Trinity Lutheran School in Boone, Iowa, for 20 years. Currently, she teaches 5th- to 8th-grade math, religion and art and serves as Trinity’s principal. Amy is a Concordia University, Nebraska, graduate and has a master’s degree in educational leadership through Northwest Missouri State.

Amy has a passion for innovative instruction, including integrating technology into various academic areas. TEC21 provides an opportunity, she says, to network with Lutheran school educators to create a best-practices technology community. She looks forward to equipping teachers with technology tools that will enhance the learning taking place in their classrooms. “In order to bring Christ to children and families in the 21st century Lutheran schools need to provide instruction relevant to today’s learners.”
