Mike Schmidt
Workshop Facilitator, North Wisconsin District

Mike has been in Lutheran schools most of his life. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison he was contracted and later Called to teach science at St. Paul Lutheran in Bonduel. Concurrently, he worked with the MTM Project and Concordia University Wisconsin to help lead peers in the integration of technology in the classroom. Now with a master’s degree in Educational Design and Technology, Mike serves Northeastern Wisconsin (NEW) Lutheran High School and supports its 1:1 iPad initiative. He loves the opportunity to integrate technology in the classroom and find better ways to reach 21st-century students where they are while maintaining a focus on God’s word and the digital ministry field. He looks forward to helping TEC21 teachers find ways to meet their students’ needs.
