Workshop Facilitator, Missouri District/Southern Illinois District
Mike was raised in the Lutheran church and comes from an extended family of Lutheran teachers. He’s taught 6th grade, science in grades 5 through 8, high school biology, chemistry, math and computer science. He has a Masters of Education degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a computer education major.
Sharing and working with teachers as a TEC21 facilitator is a natural fit for Mike. In his current position as director of Instructional Technology for the Lutheran High School Association of St. Louis he is responsible for helping teachers integrate technology into their classrooms. As a TEC21 facilitator Mike values the opportunity to collaborate with teachers as they discover and utilize effective ways to engage today’s learners by infusing technology into instruction.
