A real-time group brainstorming and decision making app. Dotstorming takes the process of dot voting online to allow groups of people to collaborate on a topic. This app is a lot like padlet or today’s meet. It allows students to be ia a collaborative discussion setting and vote.Dotstorming could be used for brainstorming sessions with your students
With Adobe Spark (Adobe Slate in the IOS version), you can create intuitive video presentations with your voice, pictures, icons, (the app provides access to a database of more than 25,000 icons and several million images) music, and text.
Tutorial
Blendspace makes it easy for teachers to organize and share educational materials in a visually pleasing format. On Blendspace you arrange videos, links, images, and files around any topic of your choosing. Blendspace has built-in search tools so that you do not have to leave your Blendspace account in order to locate resources. When you share a set of Blendspace materials with your students they can give you feedback to show that they understand the materials or they can ask questions about the materials. You can also see if your students actually looked at all of the materials that you have shared with them. Using Blendspace can be a good way to create and deliver flipped lessons.
Teachem uses the TED Ed model of creating lessons based on video. You can build courses based on videos hosted on YouTube. Teachem allows you to write questions  tied to each video.
Teachers can select videos and create customized comment buttons for students to select from and click while the video is playing.

Toontastic 3D is a storytelling app for iOS, Android, and select Chromebooks I shared this link at an earlier session, but teachers of younger grades may find this worth investigating for making 3D stories.

AndroVid – Video Editor is a tool that enables  Android users to create movies or slideshows. The free version has annoying ads pop up.

TeleStory is a video-creation tool that starts students with a scene, face-detecting costumes, cue cards, and special effects, and lets them create their own themed TV shows.

Stop Motion Studio introduces students to basic photo and video production and editing. It is a simple, straightforward approach to quickly creating basic animation.
Grades: 3–12 Price: Free
MetKids is a kid-friendly gateway to New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. The site features three major sections: “Map” lets users explore an interactive cartoon map of the Met, clicking red dots to learn more about the artwork and yellow dots to learn about visitor spaces in the museum.
